Take One Productions Goes LIVE with PTN!

  |   Business, Technology, Uncategorized
It’s 2 years and 6 months in the making ! Take One Productions has gone LIVE with PTN (Pocono Television Network) from our office/studio in Lancaster. YES….a full blown television station of the 21st century. We take the stories created from the great crews in the Poconos, plus our long form and commercial content and program each 24 hour day, in one hour blocks.
Matt Smith at Take One Production's Pocono Television Network Workstation

We haven’t settled on a title yet, Senior Director of Programming at PTN or Might Playlist Bwanah. PTN is in good hands with Matt Smith.

We’ve been working with Amazon Web Services, Imagine Communications, Live U, Sencore and other companies to make this a reality. The final product looks amazing in full 1920×1080 resolution.
The programming is also streaming to 4 cable companies in the Pocono Mountains. WFMZ, Adams Cable, WYLN and Blue Ridge Cable.
Plus, with PTN’s LIVE U capabilities, important topics happening in the Pocono Mountains can be covered just like a live tv station. On Friday, Oct. 26, we went LIVE with the crew on the Stourbridge Line in Honesdale. Adding graphics and lower 1/3rd names…we were able to reach Millions of people across the country.
You can watch it 24/7 on YOUTUBE or you can download the PTN app and watch on-demand content or the LIVE stream !

There is a lot of PTN content to manage, Imagine Communications’ Aviator software does the job.

And it’s not all just promotional content. We produce many ‘mini-docs’ that are long form segments about 20 minutes in length. They’re about companies and people in the Poconos.

The PTN app on your phone…is also streaming to iPhone, Apple TV, Android, AndroidTV, Roku, FireTV, Tizen and Xbox One
