Take One Productions has partnered with the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau since 2017. The PMVB has been very aggressive and highly successful marketing their 5 county vacation destination region to the Mid-Atlantic states and beyond. These commercial spots were created to expand the reach of the PMVB’s efforts and to compliment the successful Pocono Mountains Magazine television campaign.
Recorded on location at East Stroudsburg University and the Mount Airy Casino Resort on the same day, the projects presented some logistical and time challenges. The spots had an ambitious shot list and maximizing our crew’s time was essential. This was a day where we relied on our combined talents and familiarity with each other to create some very fun commercial spots.
Motion effects artist Bob Greenberg brought his stellar “A game” to the effects for both commercial spots and brought his array of lasers to create one of the research shots. These spots defined the term “team effort” which is how we like to work.
The spot titled “The Formula”, the one mimics an old newsreel, won a silver Telly® award in the general travel/tourism category. The silver telly is the highest honor awarded by the organization. There were over 12,000 entries from all 50 US states and 5 continents. We are grateful for the opportunity to create quality content for our clients.
