The 2.5 mile tri oval track in Long Pond Pennsylvania has been a fixture in American auto racing since 1969. The summertime race schedule brings many people into the Pocono region. This commercial spot was created to promote the Great American Escape 400 NASCAR® race at the Pocono Raceway
What was fun about this project was a collaboration with the team at Jersey Jibs. They operate a camera car package that features a jib arm mounted onto an Audi Q5. We were under a tight clock on this shoot, the weather on the plateau where the raceway lives can be temperamental our shoot date did not change that fact. Deanna Fontanez and Chris Barrett drove hot laps in stock cars provided by Stock Car Racing Experience and the TOP crew with Jersey Jibs captured the action on the track. Great audio was captured by Enots Media’s Jeremy Stone, capturing the natural sound of the race track and the competitive banter between Deanna and Chris. This was super fun day and we’d love to build upon the partnership with the track and Jersey Jibs
